Despite fashion editors predicting a move towards separates, it seems that the dress is still the essential item for shoppers this season. Sales of dresses have risen by 20% in the last three years according to market research company Mintel.
Tamara Sender, Senior Fashion Analyst at Mintel, says: “This growth has been driven by an increasing fashion for dresses, with 2010 seeing a boom in styles such as maxi dresses, which this generation would not already own and therefore would need to add to their wardrobe.”
So why are dresses holding their own in the trend stakes? Well, they can be worn with leggings, jeggings, tights or bare legs, Or any shoe, sandal or boot. Being such a versatile choice is particularly great for the curvier figure, the fashion of pairing leggings or jeggings with a great dress has made the look more wearable for those who are worried about showing too much leg for instance.
The dress pictured which is available at Curvety is a perfect example of a piece which will suit any occasion. Dress up with sexy heels and chunky accessories, or down with black leggings and some flats.

Also dresses are easy. You put it on and thats that... Its also easy to fit in a dress, if the length is off then its not a big deal and usually if it fits in the bust it fits most the rest of your body. Where with seprates you have to worry about how everthing fits.
Really nice and Suitable dress For the Situation! I really like You post!
